Aramco’s security professionals have showcased its legacy, evolution, and cutting-edge technology held recently at the Global Security Exchange (GSX) in New Orleans, Louisiana.


More than 15,000 of the world’s leading security professionals exchanged strategies, ideas, and solutions for current and emerging risks at GSX, organized by ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) International.

The booth’s six zones highlighted Aramco’s capacity to protect personnel and assets with sophisticated security systems, with our security experts address how they combine a proactive, vigilant approach with advance technology to ensure Aramco’s security.

“Security is a dynamic and ever-evolving field, with vast opportunities for growth," said Jaber A. Al Suhaimi, director of the Industrial Security Support Department. "By adapting, innovating, and embracing a culture of continuous learning and improvement, we can stay at the forefront of best practices, optimize our security posture, and meet the evolving needs of our organization and communities we serve."

The Virtual Reality Experience immersed visitors in realistic incident response scenarios, with the exhibit reflecting the training done by the Industrial Security Operations Academy.

The booth’s six zones showcased: 

  • Evolution of Security: The history wall displayed milestones in innovation from the 1950s to the present.
  • Investing in Human Capital: Showcased training at the region's premier security academy, holding international accreditations and awards.
  • Pioneering Digital Solutions: Aramco Security pioneered innovative digital solutions within a unified ecosystem for identity, access, and monitoring.
  • Dynamic and Adaptive Security: Highlighted the deployment of emerging technologies such as unmanned aerial vehicles, drones, and the future gate, enabling Aramco Security to achieve more dynamic and innovative operations.
  • Global Security Oversight: Aramco's Global Security Oversight function encompasses Global Security Operations.
  • Well-Being and Community Involvement: Programs and initiatives that promote community involvement, support employee well-being, and foster a positive work environment.

A token unlocked the tangible table to provide information on AI-powered, digital identity, intelligent gates, and proactive monitoring systems.

“Our subject matter experts are proud to showcase not only the strength of Aramco’s world-class security operations, but also the innovation, resilience, and forward-looking vision of Aramco security,” said Rayaan Alorini, lead for Aramco GSX participation. “Together, they demonstrate how we continue to set new standards in security, reliability, and global leadership.”

"Our zones highlight the shift from traditional modes to smarter, more adaptive security solutions. This transformation integrates technology, automation, and AI to create an efficient, user-friendly, and secure environment," said Mohammed Almuhaisen, lead contractors adviser.

“Our responsibility extends beyond business to community engagement and our employee well-being,” said engineer Shatha Alotaibi. “We demonstrated security’s initiatives such as K9 adoption, intramural sports, and blood donation campaigns. We are dedicated to supporting employees, the community, and an inclusive organizational culture.” 

"The energy and enthusiasm at our booth was palpable, and it was clear that our story resonated with many. From the curious questions to the insightful conversations, every interaction was a reminder of the power of connection and collaboration," said engineer Ragad Almadani.

Aramco and its security professionals are recognized

During GSX, ASIS International honored outstanding individuals and organizations. 

Meshal A. Aljohani, received two of the most prestigious accolades: the ASIS Distinguished Service Award, and the Professional Certification Board Outstanding Achievement Award.

Aramco was honored with the ASIS International Recognition Award for its partnership with ASIS and its commitment to strengthening global security resilience.

GSX stage spotlight

Aramco speakers showcased Aramco’s security leadership, innovation, and expertise on the GSX stage. Conference attendees listened to educational sessions from Mohammad Ageel, security operations manager; Meshal Aljohani, lead security group officer; and engineer Ragad Almadani. 

Ageel shared a case study that discussed best practices for crisis response and resolution, emphasizing the importance of preparedness and agility.

Meshal Aljohani, lead security group officer, was honored with top recognition and led a session on elevating security excellence and achieving global recognition. 

Engineer Almadani, on the final day of the conference, delivered a session that offered a practical roadmap for leveraging AI technology in master planning for security solutions. Their contributions reflect Aramco Industrial Security's commitment to advancing the conversation on security best practices on a global scale.

Planning is already underway for the next GSX, to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., and via the GSX platform, on September 14-16, 2026.
