Aramco is advancing the development of unconventional gas fields as the company sets an ambitious strategy to significantly increase natural gas production by 2030.

Participating in the Unconventional Resources Technology Conference (URTeC) 2024, June 17-19, Houston, the company shares technical advancements and latest research to optimize its unconventional resources.

Aramco has participated in URTeC since the inaugural conference in 2013.  Researchers, geoscientists, and engineers will present technical papers and host daily in-booth presentations highlighting machine learning for predicting well performance, field development approaches, and drilling strategies in naturally fractured shales.

Three professional societies collaborate to host URTeC; the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG).  This brings together a range of technical and professional disciplines to integrate unconventional resource teams for success.

Visit Aramco at booth #332 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Representatives will be available to discuss careers with Aramco and opportunities for business collaboration.
