More than 5,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the SPE Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition October 3-5 in Houston. As a top-level sponsor of the flagship event for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Aramco will also present technical papers, chair sessions, and exhibit.
The global gathering themed Empower Progress. Empower Energy., comes as petroleum engineers look toward the industry's net-zero emission goals. Technical sessions will feature over 400 peer-selected papers, discussions, insights, and best practices in digital technologies and the energy transition.
Aramco has been a longtime supporter of SPE, contributing more than 35 technical papers this year and co-chairing sessions on topics on Zonal Isolation and Fluids, Reservoir Prediction and Containment, and Advancements in Fundamental Petrophysics.
The conference rotates yearly between overseas and the Americas, with SPE the world's largest upstream oil and gas professional organization.
