Aramco Americas receives a 2021 President's Volunteer Award

Aramco volunteers were recognized with a 2021 President's Volunteer Service Award for their collective efforts of 109 hours in 2021 at the Houston Food Bank. In a letter signed by U.S. President Joe Biden, our volunteers were congratulated for “taking it upon yourself to contribute to the public good.”

The letter further thanked volunteers for “sharing your time and your passion” and through volunteer leadership, providing hope and light.

Accepting the award were Kim Broussard-Layton, Finance, and Nam Mai, Production Technology, Aramco Research Center-Houston. Broussard-Layton and Mai are part of the Aramco Americas volunteer corps and regularly participate in Houston Food Bank events.

"If we didn't have volunteers to go the extra mile we wouldn't be able to make it happen," said Brian Greene, President, Houston Food Bank.  

Greene recognized 35 companies in the Houston area with the President's Volunteer Service Award.
