Supplier eligibility and registration

Do I need to have a representative in Saudi Arabia to do business with Saudi Aramco?
No, a local representative is not required.

Does having a representative in Saudi Arabia speed up the approval process?
Not necessarily. While having a local representative may help improve response times and facilitate communication with Aramco, it is not a requirement for approval.

Can I apply for registration if I don’t produce priority materials?
Currently only suppliers of items on our priority sourcing list are considered for approval. However, the list is regularly updated, and your products may be included in future revisions.

If your company offers products based on new or advanced technology, please go to our ‘For innovators’ section for further information.

What if I have multiple manufacturing locations?
Each individual facility must be registered and approved separately.

Approved supplier status

I have just become an approved supplier. What happens next?

When a specific need arises for the materials you provide, you will be considered for the contract.

I am already an approved supplier. Can I expand my approved product range?

Each new item must go through the same approval process. Only items currently included on the priority list are eligible for new supplier approval. However, the list is regularly updated, and your products may be included in future revisions.

How often is the priority sourcing list updated?

The list of sourcing materials is reviewed and updated periodically to reflect Aramco’s evolving needs.

Service providers

Can I register if I am a service provider?
There is no general registration requirement for service providers who provide work based in the Western Hemisphere, provided that the ultimate end user is based within Saudi Aramco and all approvals pertaining to contract development originate there. Saudi Aramco must prescreen and technically qualify your organization as a service provider for relevant contracting work.

Aramco Americas or Aramco Americas Company? The answer is…both.

Our legal name is Aramco Americas Company (AACO). That said, the naming designation of “doing business as” Aramco Americas was created to refer to our evolving business role in the Americas. Official documents may at times contain references to Aramco Americas or AACO, but no matter our name, we continue to be a vital link between people and our parent company, Aramco, one of the world’s leading energy and petrochemicals companies.
