Intercultural understanding

We sponsor rewarding cultural immersion and professional development experiences in the U.S. for Saudi Aramco employees.

Our subsidiary, the Aramco Training Services Company (ATSC), runs technical and professional training programs that place Saudi Aramco employees with U.S.-based companies for up to 18 months. This allows companies to host highly qualified Saudi Aramco professionals who in turn contribute their expertise to enriching the host company's business.

Companies that participate in this program host professionals who have been identified through a selective screening process, and who are then matched to companies based on the candidate's ability to make meaningful contributions.

ATSC is a Houston-based, U.S.-registered company and a sponsoring agency within the U.S. State Department’s International Exchange Visitor Program. The exchange program aims to ‘build enduring bridges of friendship between people and nations,’ and as a sponsor organization, ATSC is able to issue supporting visa documents for the J-1 exchange visitor program under the Trainee category.

If you would like to become a host company, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be located in the U.S., though companies with headquarters elsewhere that have facilities in the U.S. may be considered if the position is based in the U.S.
  • Be willing and able to enter into a contractual agreement to provide the agreed upon training and provide proper oversight and instruction as part of the program.
  • Register as a host company.
