The Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists in conjunction with the Society of Sedimentary Geology will hold their third joint conference, the International Meeting for Applied Geoscience and Energy (IMAGE 2023), at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston, August 28-Sept. 1.
Visit Aramco at its exhibit booth #833 for daily presentations and throughout the week where the company will present more than 60 technical papers and poster presentations on emerging geology and geophysics topics to interdisciplinary research on machine learning and digital transformation.
Aramco professionals served on this year's conference Oversight and Steering Committee. “The combined energy geoscience talent in AAPG and SEG is unmatched, and that excellence is reflected in the technical program. There will be something for everyone at IMAGE '23,” said Meredith Faber, Geologist, Aramco Americas and Strategic Panels Co-Chair, IMAGE '23 Steering Committee.
Complementing the technical program will be eight strategic panels connecting the industry's thought leaders with the broader geoscience community to generate dialogue around several topics critical to the future of energy. These include discussions on workforce dynamics and diversity, energy transition, diversification and investment, and collaboration and public engagement.
The Exhibit Hall will feature 250 companies with more than 24 countries represented in the Global Pavilion. Organizers expect more than 6,000 attendees.
