Aramco Americas mobilizes to address food insecurity in five U.S. cities
The Aramco family of companies in the U.S., Motiva and SABIC, have joined with Aramco Americas in support of the Houston Food Bank.
Each year, Aramco employees and their families take part in a summer tradition: volunteering at food banks and a community kitchen in five cities in one week. Summer months are especially challenging for food banks due to children being out of school and missing lunch from federally-funded programs.

In Detroit, Aramco employees contributed to the Gleaners Community Food Bank by packaging and preparing grocery deliveries for a mobile pantry program. Volunteers in New York City packed and distributed grocery bags with fresh produce and pantry items for families.
Meanwhile, Aramco volunteers assisted culinary students and staff prepare food at the DC Central Kitchen. The community kitchen focuses on job training and preparing meals for schools and neighborhoods. Volunteers have visited a local area orchard in the past to handpick blueberries for use in these tasty meals.
