For the second year in a row Aramco Research Center-Detroit in collaboration with Argonne National Lab and Convergent Science won a Reader’s Choice award from HPCwire magazine for the most innovative project using high-performance computing in industry.
A team of engineering students at Michigan Technological University (MTU) captured a number of first place wins in the 2020 Clean Snowmobile Challenge – a collegiate competition series conducted each year by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International.
Aramco is sponsoring more than 200 graduate students in the U.S. during the 2019-2020 academic year, with 55 of them pursuing doctorate degrees. Two of these doctoral students were recently recognized for their outstanding contributions in university-based research, with promising applications in the energy and chemicals industry.
Aramco Americas debuted its “Aramco iExplore: Energy” program in Detroit through a collaborative partnership with the Michigan Science Center, Michigan State University’s CREATE for STEM Institute, and the Detroit Public Schools Community District.
