Trees For Houston
Founded in 1983, Trees for Houston plants, protects, and promotes tree growth in Greater Houston.
For over 15 years, we have partnered with Trees For Houston to strengthen the city’s “urban forest,” supporting both sponsorship and hands-on engagement. Increased tree coverage improves quality of life by enhancing green spaces and also provides much-needed canopies of shade. Together, we have planted nearly 80,000 trees, saplings, and seedlings, helping improve air quality. Recent initiatives include:
A major tree planting and irrigation project at one of Houston’s largest parks — MacGregor Park — while neighborhoods such as the Fifth Ward east of downtown Houston have benefitted from Aramco Americas sponsored tree plantings and tree giveaways. From 2025 and into 2026 our support funded the planting of 350 matures trees.
Supporting the City of Houston’s Resilient Houston plan, contributing toward the goal of 4.6 million new native trees by 2030. Trees planted with our support and by our volunteers count toward this goal, to ensure long-term community impact.
