Michigan Science Center
Through the Aramco Traveling Science Program, hands-on STEM activities are brought directly to communities in the Detroit area.
We have been a long-standing partner of the Michigan Science Center (Mi-Sci), helping extend its reach far beyond Detroit, reaching some 60,000 people annually. Through the Aramco Traveling Science Program, launched in 2012, interactive workshops, live demonstrations, and hands-on STEM activities are brought directly to schools, libraries, and community centers across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana — particularly in underserved communities where access to STEM activities may be limited.
Highlights include live science shows, challenges like Ozobot Racers and LEGO Six Bricks, and free museum admission for early attendees. We also support curriculum-based initiatives such as Aramco iExplore: Energy, which teaches more than 4,000 Detroit-area high school students with immersive labs, as well as supported large-scale exhibitions.
