Each summer, Texas A&M University’s G-Camp provides a unique professional development opportunity for teachers, supported for over a decade by Aramco Americas. The camp immerses educators in geological exploration across Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico, from studying volcanic, sedimentary, and metamorphic rock formations to conducting fieldwork in water sampling and underground mines.
Since its founding in 2007, G-Camp has impacted more than 250,000 students through the teachers who bring this knowledge back to their classrooms. With Aramco geologists working alongside educators, participants consistently rank the program as one of the most impactful professional development experiences of their careers.
