FIRST Robotics
FIRST uses uses robotics to expand access to after-school STEM programs for high school students in Texas, Michigan, and the Chesapeake Region.
In 2024, we joined forces with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology), a nonprofit that uses robotics to expand access to after-school STEM programs for high school students in Texas, Michigan, and the Chesapeake Region (encompassing Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.).
With support from Aramco Americas, FIRST has established hundreds of new robotics teams for regional and annual high school robotics competitions, directly benefiting more than 7,000 students. By combining technical skill-building with mentorship, teamwork, and leadership opportunities, these programs empower students to pursue careers in science and engineering and become the innovators of tomorrow.
